A bucket list is a list of the experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime. A bucket list is an itemized list of goals people want to accomplish before they “kick the bucket” — or die.
To build motivation and regain some of the "only-me" time that you deserve. Imagine the feeling of actually arriving at one of the places you've always longed to see in person.
How to create your own reverse bucket list. Take time to think about all the different sources of meaning from your life such as work, creative pursuits, or leisure activities. This could include things you've already experienced, people you've met, places you have been, and other goals or accomplishments.
Include anything you like on your bucket list. List career goals, travel destinations, health, finance, or relationship goals. It can be as long or as short as you want. Really, if you can dream it, you can do it.
Grab some colorful slips of paper and write down anything you might want to add to your bucket list on each one. Be sure to write down a time goal too (very important). Add each one to the jar and take out a slip of paper every so often and start working toward that written goal.
Creating a written list of your plans will help you to be more mindful and intentional about how you spend your time. It will also help motivate you to follow through with doing the things you and your family enjoy most.
It seems obvious, but the single most important thing to pack for your travels is your passport. You won't get very far without it. Once you've ticked everything off your pre-travel checklist, and before you put your foot out the door, one last check for that important little book really won't hurt.
If you have never heard of the term “bucket list”, it is a list of all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfill, and life experiences you wish to experience before you die.
