Welcome, summer! Are you ready for your most adventurous, fun summer? Here are summer bucket list ideas for you to accomplish this year!

  1. Have a backyard party with your family.

  3. Have breakfast with friends or a breakfast date with your significant other.
  4. Spend the day outdoors, hiking a local trail, and go hammocking.
  5. Read a new book. I am planning to read this one and this one this summer.
  6. Have a bonfire – and don’t forget s’mores!
  7. Join my #EnjoyJuly Challenge!
  8. Be a tourist in your own city.
  9. Go out on a river and kayak/canoe or just go swimming.
  10. Go on a bike ride around the city.
  11. Go to a garage sale.
  12. Fly a kite on the beach.
  13. Go to an outdoor concert (or zoom to an online concert? Is that a thing yet?).
  14. Bake a cheesecake.
  15. Build a sandcastle.
  16. Stargaze.
  17. Go to a water park.
  18. Go to a wine tasting. No wine tastings open in your area? No problem, sign up to a wine club and get a couple of bottles to taste with your significant other or friends!
  19. Feed the birds in a square or in a park.
  20. Watch fireworks on the 4th of July.
  21. Have a picnic.
  22. Visit an aquarium.
  23. Go strawberry picking.
  24. Watch the sunset.
  25. Go on a road trip with friends or family.

  37. Find a swimsuit that you actually love.
  38. Learn to make kombucha yourself.
  39. Watch a drive-in movie – have you ever been to one?
  40. Make a surprise visit to your parents.
  41. Start learning a new language.
  42. Learn a new skill – something you’ve been interested in for a while. I will be practicing piano a lot the summer, but it could be anything – tap dancing, piano, woodworking, pottery. Tell me yours in the comments below!
